My parents and my sister (with family) came home from Gran Canaria this week. The kids, as well as the other gang, had enjoyed their trip. They liked flying, they played in the pool every day, they even rode on camels!

Yesterday it was dinner with the girls at Tez’. We had a great time as usual, with lots of good food! Thank you guys, love you!

This week I’ve learnt so much about computers, hard drives etc. We bought a hard drive that had to be converted about a zillion times… Luckily a friend of ours has a patience that is above standard, and he has tought me about these things. It still makes me pissed when it’s not working. The hard drive has almost been thrown out the window several times and Verner runs and hide somewhere safe!

On Tuesday I was at Scandic hotel in Lund, we learned more about different ways to coach our collegues in how to use computers even more in class.

The week has been filled with delicious food, this weekend we made Västerbottenpaj, perfect with seafood! The picture is horrible, but it’s the only one I’ve got, sorry!

I’m totally addicted to a game called Virtual city. It’s a free game available in app store. It’s sort of like Sim city, but you work with many different cities throughout USA. You get different assignments that you have to master before you unlock the next city. It’s totally addictive, don’t say I didn’t warn you!

We have been cooking some delicious meals this week. The Caesar salad we made yesterday was absolutely divine! Although I have a feeling I have a serious garlic breath…!

I went for a run in the sunny weather today. The downside was that the temperature made it hard to breathe, otherwise it felt great!

Verner turned 8 on January 2nd. I can’t believe it, it doesn’t feel like that long ago since we went to pick him up in Gothenburg. His present this year; a pig! He loves it, and he played with it for hours and hours the day he got it!

We’re having cat problems. The cats in the neighbourhood use our lawn as a toilet now and again. The other day a cat came by for a visit, sitting just outside our kitchen window. The cat and Verner shared a moment, a looong moment!

Tomorrow I’m back to work. I would’ve loved a couple of more weeks off, but at the same time it’s going to be nice to get back to “normal” again!

Oh my god, I feel so relaxed right now. This week was just what I needed, and I’m so happy there is one more week left for me to continue with my decadense!

We’ve hung out with some friends; Jen, Jimmie, Linda and Jens. I got the opportunity to enduldge in my new hobby; baking! Macrones and cupcakes is the shit, just so you know. If I continue like this I will have to find myself a onepiece to hide my new figure!

Yesterday it was New Year’s Eve. My parents came by and we ate a lot of good food, maybe that onepiece wasn’t such a bad idea after all? At 11.30 I retired to the bathroom with my sparkling wine, my stereo and my dog. No, that wasn’t true, he was already in there, waiting for me with his scared looking appearance. But it went by painless, it was actually kind of relaxing on that big red pillow of his.

The kids got heaps of gifts and the Zhu Zhu pets were popular, thank god!

Merry Christmas to everybody!!

On Tuesday I ate a lot of Christmas food at the Svea hotel in Simrishamn. My God did it taste delicious! After dinner me and my collegues played the Christmas gift game. I won three gifts!

This weekend we made beef tenderloin with a sauce made from chanterelles we picked this summer. The day after it was time for chicken with pesto and pine nuts. The picture doesn’t do the dish justice, I can tell you that much!

We helped with some cleaning in my sister’s summer house, we are all going to spend Christmas there!

I got my Christmas present from work, a piece of Parmesan and a grater, perfect!

We put up a shelf at home yesterday, it was difficult and took a while. Verner found a safe place in the stairs during the worst moments!

Now I know what a space ship looks like from the inside. I visited the “Vintergatan”-set on Tuesday. It is funny how everything looks so fake when you see it up close. But it was fun to be there. We even got to see the police station in the british Wallander movies, but the camera/phone was strictly forbidden.

On Saturday it was time to meet the girls, this time it was at Jen’s house. We had a great time, as usual!

On Tuesday I learned more about different ways you can use computers in class.

On Wednesday and Thursday I went to Drakamöllan. I learned more about our working environment, everything from hours to desks.

I think I’ve gained a couple of pounds these days, the food was excellent!

While I was away Verner managed to get something in his eye. This thing ripped out a piece of his eye, and we went to the vet on Friday. Now he is in a daze, constantly tired. Hopefully he’ll heal completely, we’ll know that at the next vet appointment.

Yesterday my sister and her family came over for some tacos. We had a great time, although I had to almost wisper because of the lack of a voice. The kids played videogames and built things with Tomas Lego.

My sister and her husband have finally found a summer house in this area, and I’m so happy!! Now they can spend more time down here, I can’t wait!
